Whipped cream dispenser care: what every drinks bar should know
Regular cleaning and part checks keep a cream dispenser working well and safely — plus the signs it's time to replace parts.

A whipped cream dispenser is a pressurised tool. Proper care keeps the cream consistent and reduces the risk of leaks.
After every day of use
- Release all remaining pressure before opening the head
- Remove the lever, nozzle and gasket and wash them separately
- Use a small brush to clean the valve and cream channels
- Let all parts dry completely before reassembling
Signs a part needs replacing
- The gasket is hard, cracked or deformed
- Gas or cream leaks around the head or nozzle
- Threads on the head or nozzle are damaged and won't tighten
